LOCKS OF THE WEEK

Broncos over Raiders – I am tired of being wrong with my lock. Broncos win easily but I may have just cursed them because apparently I am terrible at guessing sure things.

Patriots over Bills – New England barely squeaked out a win against the Jets last week, and although they have already clinched their division and home field advantage throughout the playoffs, I don’t expect them to take it easy in the final game of the season. Buffalo’s ground game is awful (25th in the league) and the Patriots are 7-0 at home this year. Oh, and the Bills gave up 396 total yards of offense to New England in their last meeting in Week 6 when they lost 37-22 to Brady & Co.
Patriots 34 – Bills 20

Saints over Bucs – In the final week of the season, the 3rd place Saints take on the last place Buccaneers. Overall, both of these teams have had lackluster seasons in arguably the worst division in football. And after the way New Orleans got knocked out of playoff contention last week, look for veteran quarterback Drew Brees to help end the Saints’ season on a high note. Tampa Bay has some young talent that will play key roles in the future (such as Doug Martin and Mike Evans), but overall, it’s been a rough season for the Bucs, and it doesn’t look like it’ll get any better in week 17.
