LOCKS OF THE WEEK

Scott Batchelor

Patriots over Lions – I could go into great detail of why this is a lock, and while it may seem lazy I am just going to tell you what we are all thinking. Patriots are hot and playing at home. The lions are not the team to end the Patriots hot streak. New England takes an easy one.

Patriots 41 – Lions 21

Buzz Baumer

49ers over Redskins – The 3-7 Washington Redskins travel to the 6-4 San Francisco 49ers. The Redskins are coming off a 27-7 loss to the 2-8 Tampa Bay Buccaneers. In the press conference following that game, QB RGIII threw his teammates under the bus definitely causing a commotion and a divide in the locker room. It doesn’t get easy for them as they travel to a 49ers team, who are finding themselves again and winning in old 49er fashion. 49ers fashion is playing good defense and running hard and physical on offense. The Redskins are 1-4 in away games, and the 49ers are 2-2 at home. I see the 49ers giving the Redskins are very dose of RB Frank Gore, and this will allow QB Colin Kaepernick to use the play action to get the ball to his playmakers like WR Michael Crabtree.

49ers 28 – Redskins 10

Colts over Jaguars – The Colts are coming off of a big loss to the Patriots last week. With Ahmad Bradshaw out for the rest of the season with a broken leg, look for Andrew Luck to takeover and destroy the Jaguars secondary, who give up an average of 262 passing yards per game. Not to mention, Jacksonville is also 0-5 away from home.

Colts 33 – Jaguars 17

Jeremy Karp

Packers over Vikings – The Packers have been on an absolute tear the past few weeks, and they look to keep that streak going against the Minnesota Vikings. The Vikings have a struggling secondary, and with Aaron Rodgers and the surging offense of Green Bay, expect the Packers to continue their hot streak on Sunday.

Nick Yahl

Broncos over Miami – Denver is coming off a rough loss against St. Louis and will look to bounce back this week in Miami. Miami has played well so far this season, but give me Peyton Manning any day of the week.

Broncos 31 – Dolphins 17

Ryan Melosi

Colts over Jaguars- Coming off a loss and playing one of the worst teams in the league at home will get the Colts back on track.

Colts 38 – Jaguars 13

Billy Perry

Chiefs over Raiders – The Raiders haven’t figured out that the object of the game of football is to outscore the opponent. This is not golf. The lowest score does not win.

Chiefs 34 – Raiders 20

Mick Lite

Browns over Falcons
