The St. Charles Chill are finding their niche.  They have been a much better hockey team in recent weeks and a large part of that strong play has been Robby Moss in net.

After starting the season with just two wins in his first eight decisions, Moss has steadied the ship and has now gone 4-1-2 over his last seven decisions.

The Chesterfield, Missouri native is just one of numerous local products playing with the Chill.

Moss played in the SPHL last season (Augusta) going 16-16-2 with a 2.93 GAA and a .913 save percentage.  This after playing minimally at St. Lawrence University for four seasons (went 11-11-3).

The Chill have climbed out of the basement in the CHL with a 7-13-4 record but in their last 11 games, they have gone 5-4-2 including a big 3-2 win over Quad City on Wednesday night.

Things will be tough for Moss and the Chill this weekend as they visit Missouri on Friday before they play the Mallards twice more before the Christmas break.
