The O’Fallon Hoots, members of the Prospect League announced the signing of University of Illinois RHP Ben Plumley for the 2022 summer season.
The 6-foot-1 RHP attended Lane Tech College Prep High School, where he was used primarily as a pitcher. In 4 games during the 2020-21 season, Plumley posted a 4.61 ERA while striking out 25 batters in just 13.2 innings for a staggering 17.04 K/9.
