by St. Louis Ambush

The St. Louis Ambush will be busy this weekend as they play on the road and at home on consecutive days. The Ambush continue their preseason Central Cup tournament with a visit to Independence to square off with the Kansas City Comets on Saturday, December 19 at 6:00 p.m. CT at the Cable Dahmer Arena. Following that contest, the Ambush return home to host the Dallas Sidekicks on Sunday, December 20 at 12:05 p.m. CT at the Family Arena.

The Ambush enter the weekend looking to rebound from an 8-3 loss to the Wichita Wings last Saturday while the Comets hope to improve to 2-0 in the tournament after defeating the Sidekicks 8-3 on Saturday. The Sidekicks also have an active weekend, as they will journey to Wichita to face the Wings on Friday before invading the Family Arena on Sunday.

Sunday’s game also features the St. Charles County Youth Soccer Association (SCCYSA) Weekend of Champions awards, wherein youth teams will be presented awards on the Family Arena turf at 10:00 a.m.

For fans wanting to make the trip to Independence to see the Ambush face the Comets, tickets are available online at ticketmaster.com. Tickets for Sunday’s contest at the Family Arena are available at the Family Arena box office and online at ticketmaster.com.
