The St. Louis Ambush, members of the Major Arena Soccer League (MASL), have signed local product Ado Jahic. Per league and team policies, no further details of the signing were announced.

The Bosnian native moved to St. Louis when he was three and calls St. Louis home. He played youth soccer for the St. Louis Scott Gallagher Academy and prep soccer at Mehlville High School. In his lone season playing high school soccer, Jahic helped lead Mehlville to the Missouri State Quarterfinals while posting 23 goals and seven assists in 21 games. He was named one of the top 15 players to watch in high school in the state of Missouri by TopDrawerSoccer. Jahic earned first-team all-state, all-region and All-Suburban West Conference honors.

Jahic’s collegiate career was split between Bradley University in Peoria, Illinois and Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He also played for the Bosnian National Team at the U17, U19 and U21 levels.

The Ambush kick off 2020 on the road for their next three games, starting with two south of the border. The Ambush duel the Sonora Soles on January 3 and the Monterrey Flash on January 5, followed by a trip to Milwaukee to battle the Wave on January 12. The next Ambush home game is slated for January 17, when Utica City FC visits the Family Arena.
