That’s the well-known tagline of FanDuel Sportsbook and Horse Racing in Collinsville, whose new season of live thoroughbred events launches next week.

The legacy facility, formerly known as “Fairmount Park,” begins their 99th year of operation with the popular “Horse Hooky” campaign on Tuesday, April 16 at 1 pm.

Just like last season, live showdowns at the one-mile dirt oval run weekly on Tuesdays (1 pm post time) and Saturdays (7:30 pm post time) through November 16.

Their annual marquee event, which coincides with a live simulcast of the 150th Kentucky Derby, is set for Saturday, May 4 with live racing beginning at 1 pm.

Opened in 1925, the track features thoroughbred attractions that usually consists of eight to ten races daily, depending on number and complexion of entrants.

The Collinsville mainstay is one of two horse racing venues in the state of Illinois. Last July, the facility completed a $700,000 renovation project that benefited the teams and jockeys that compete there.

Entry to the family-friendly fixture is all-ages and those aged 18 and older are allowed to place wages.

Meanwhile, their on-site Sportsbook operation, where one can place wagers on a plethora of sporting contests, continues during regular hours.
