Connor Thomas (S, 1) faced the minimum in 4.0 innings out of the bullpen and struck out four. The lone baserunner allowed by Thomas, a single in the eighth, was erased by a double play.

Catcher Ivan Herrera recorded a two-hit game and drove in a pair of runs. Center fielder Richie Palacios reached base four times in a 2-for-3 night with two walks, two runs scored and an RBI.
