MEMPHIS, TN – The Memphis Redbirds continued the six-game road trip at Durham with a 6-5 walk-off loss to the Bulls on Saturday night at the Durham Bulls Athletic Park.

Memphis jumped out to a 5-0 lead and led 5-2 heading into the bottom of the ninth inning. Durham brought home the winning run with the bases loaded and one out in the 10th.

Second baseman Juniel Querecuto got the scoring started in the second inning with a two-run home run, his fourth home run of the season. Memphis added three runs in the fourth on RBI from left fielder Juan Yepez, designated hitter Moises Gomez and Querecuto.

Starting pitcher Matthew Liberatore was phenomenal in his sixth start of the season. The left-handed pitcher tossed 6.0 innings of shutout baseball, allowed three hits, walked three batters and struck out nine Bulls.

Guillermo Zuñiga is credited with his second blown save of the season after he allowed a game-tying three-run home run with one out in the bottom of the ninth. Kyle Leahy (1-2) allowed the winning run in the tenth.

The Redbirds (17-9) return to AutoZone Park on Tuesday, May 2 to take on the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp at 6:45 p.m. to begin a six-game homestand. You can find more information on upcoming promotions at AutoZone Park here.
