O’Herron previously served as the Graduate Assistant Academic Advisor for the football, women’s basketball, women’s tennis and men’s and women’s track and field programs at the University of South Carolina from 2017-19.

A former student-athlete, O’Herron played softball at Winona State University. She is a member of the National Association of Academic and Student-Athlete Development Professionals [N4A] and also serves on the N4A’s Membership and Recruitment Committee and Communications Committee.

“I’m incredibly grateful and excited for the opportunity to join the Illinois baseball family. This program and this athletic department are very special, and I am looking forward to contributing to its success. I-L-L!”
