Mizzou Expected To Land Tallest Player In D-1 Basketball

Mizzou basketball is expected to land 7-foot-5 Western Kentucky transfer Jamarion Sharp, per basketball insider Adam Zagoria. He is the tallest Division I men’s basketball player at 7-foot-5. He entered the transfer portal on April 29th.

Last season he averaged 8.3 points, 7.5 rebounds and a nation-leading 4.6 blocks per game while shooting 72.7 percent from the field.
Sharp was named Conference USA Defensive Player of the Year and an honorable mention all-conference selection. He was a semifinalist for the Naismith Defensive Player of the Year Award, as well as a finalist for the Lefty Driesell Award.
He had 148 blocks last season, while the Missouri team had 134.
