The Tulsa Oilers, proud ECHL off affiliate of the NHL’s St. Louis Blues, announced Tuesday that forward Dakota Joshua has been reassigned by St. Louis to San Antonio of the AHL.

Dakota Joshua, 23, heads to San Antonio after posting 11 points (3G, 8A) in 20 games with the Oilers. Joshua is on a three-game point streak, and is coming off his first multi-goal game of his young professional career. Earlier this season, the Dearborn, MI native registered one assist in two games with the Rampage.

Prior to turning pro, the 128th overall pick of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft (Toronto Maple Leafs) played at Ohio State University, compiling 100 points (41G, 59A) in 128 games with the Buckeyes.

The 6’2, 198 lbs. forward played his junior hockey with Sioux Falls of the USHL, recording 85 points (40G, 45A) in 114 games. Joshua also played in six games for the USA NTDP, scoring two goals.

The Oilers host the Fort Wayne Komets on Friday at 7:05 p.m. before traveling to Wichita for a matchup at INTRUST Bank Arena.
