by

O’FALLON, Mo. — River City Rascals designated hitter Nolan Meadows was named a Frontier League Post-Season All-Star on Friday afternoon, being recognized as the league’s top DH. The fifth-year pro out of Long Beach State is hitting .256 on the year, his first with the Rascals. The 25-year-old has 10 home runs, 59 RBIs and 18 doubles on the season, in addition to drawing 48 walks, the second-most on the team.

Meadows was a Frontier League Mid-Season All-Star in 2016, when playing with the Normal CornBelters. The Southern Californian native spent last season with the New Jersey Jackals of the Can-Am League.
