Saint Louis freshman guard Ciaja Harbison has been selected the Atlantic 10 Conference women’s basketball Rookie of the Week for a fifth time this season, the league office announced today.
Harbison tallied 15 points, a team-high five assists, four rebounds and a steal in the Billikens’ win at Saint Joseph’s Jan. 9. She had a team-high 15 points, a game-high six assists and a career-high-tying six rebounds vs. Fordham Jan. 13.
Harbison leads Saint Louis and ranks fourth in the A-10 with 14.6 points per game. She leads the league in assists (4.5 apg) and is fourth in minutes played (36.2 mpg), fifth in assist-turnover ratio (1.29-to-1) and tied for sixth in free throw percentage (team-high .833).
A Saint Louis player has won the A-10 Rookie of the Week award in eight of 10 weeks this season.
The Billikens host Rhode Island Wednesday, Jan. 16. Tip time at Chaifetz Arena is 7 p.m.
