GAME DETAILS

• Katie McClure scored her second goal of the game in the 104th minute to lift Kansas to a 2-1 double-overtime win over Saint Louis Friday night in an NCAA Championship first-round game at KU’s Rock Chalk Park.

• The Billikens, whose school-record 14-game winning streak coming in was the longest active streak in Division I women’s soccer, finished the season with a school-record 18 victories (18-4-1). Kansas (12-5-3) advances to next Friday’s second round to face the North Carolina-Howard first-round winner.

• Maddie Pokorny registered her 13th goal of the season in the 34th minute to tie the game at 1-1. Pokorny matched the SLU single-season record set by Jamie Perry in 2002. She finished the season with 28 points, tied for the third-highest single-season total in Saint Louis history.

• Saint Louis, which set a school record by playing its 23rd game, was making its third NCAA Championship appearance (2005, 2006).

• The Billikens finished with a school-record 52 goals, outscoring their opponents 52-14. They equaled the school mark of 144 points in a season.

• Saint Louis set school records for most shots (444) and fewest shots allowed (123) in a season.

• Isabel Burke tallied her fourth assist on Pokorny’s goal, SLU’s third-highest total of the season. The Pokorny-Burke tandem was the Billikens’ 27th different player combination on 37 assisted goals this season.

• Pokorny fired a game-high six shots to finish the season with a school-record 87. All six shots were on frame, her career single-game high for shots on goal.

• On the Billiken career lists, Pokorny finished third in shots (230), tied for fourth in games started (80), sixth in goals (24) and games played (82), and tied for eighth in points (55).
