GAME DETAILS
• Katie McClure scored her second goal of the game in the 104th minute to lift Kansas to a 2-1 double-overtime win over Saint Louis Friday night in an NCAA Championship first-round game at KU’s Rock Chalk Park.
• The Billikens, whose school-record 14-game winning streak coming in was the longest active streak in Division I women’s soccer, finished the season with a school-record 18 victories (18-4-1). Kansas (12-5-3) advances to next Friday’s second round to face the North Carolina-Howard first-round winner.
• Maddie Pokorny registered her 13th goal of the season in the 34th minute to tie the game at 1-1. Pokorny matched the SLU single-season record set by Jamie Perry in 2002. She finished the season with 28 points, tied for the third-highest single-season total in Saint Louis history.
