Eleven SLAM Players Named WFA All-Americans

The Women’s Football Alliance (WFA) revealed their 2017 All-Americans Thursday and the listing contained 11 players from the St. Louis SLAM.

Six made the WFA American Conference All-American First Team and will compete in a July 22 exhibition during the governing body’s Championship Weekend held in Pittsburgh, PA.

A half-dozen SLAM defensive specialists and five members of the offense were named to the three levels of All-American teams.

WFA AMERICAN CONFERENCE ALL-AMERICANS

FIRST TEAM

QUARTERBACK – Jamie Gaal

WIDE RECEIVER – Danielle Price

CENTER – Caitlin Erickson

CORNERBACK – Keyonna Smith

FREE SAFETY – Kaylee Neutzling

LINEBACKER – Jelani Kelly

SECOND TEAM

TAILBACK – Taylor Hay

CORNERBACK – Victoria Nichols

LINEBACKER – Raven Williams

THIRD TEAM

OFFENSIVE GUARD – Tammie Moore

LINEBACKER – Brooklyn Bastain

Congratulations to the SLAM players for their WFA national recognition.

The defending WFA Tier II National Champions (7-1) return to the field for post-season action on Saturday, June 17 in a second round American Conference playoff battle against the Madison Blaze at St. Mary’s High School in St. Louis.
