St. Louis’ first women’s flat-track roller derby franchise recently revealed their 2022 local season that takes place at Midwest Sport Hockey within Queeny Park beginning May 21.

“Our skaters are beyond excited to be back skating and we are ready to compete,” said Arch Rival President WyldeSyde of the League’s comeback to the Ballwin venue. “We’re looking forward to seeing everyone in the stands cheering us on.”

Within the four-event schedule, Arch Rival pairs with local professional wrestling company Dynamo Pro Wrestling for two of the events, billed as “Jams & Slams,” while the other attractions this summer mixes old school rules and newly-minted match-ups.

Founded in 2005, the League last held games February 2020 and subsequently suspended play due to the pandemic. Now with their return, the skaters look forward to presenting their quad-skate brand of mayhem back to the public.

“ARCH fans are the best!” said WyldeSyde. “We have missed our fans who make our games so exciting.  We’re going to be competitive and fun this local season!”

Tickets for the four-event regular season go on sale shortly.
