St. Louis’ Horror Metal Band The Lion’s Daughter Keep Delivering

by Carrie Zukoski

St. Louis’ own synth-driven horror metal The Lion’s Daughter have released a video of their cover of Judas Priest’s “Turbo Lover.”

The song was previously only available via Bandcamp as part of the band’s Turbo Covers EP. A vinyl pressing of the EP is in the works and slated to drop sometime during the summer of 2022.

The six-track EP also includes song covers of Ministry, GG Allin, Nine Inch Nails, Nirvana, and Mr. Bungle.

If you’re looking for originals from the hard core trio consisting of Rick Giordano on guitars, vocals, synths, Erik Ramsier on drums, and Scott Fogelbach on vocals and bass, their 2021 album, Skin Show is available to download or stream through various services here.

A press release calls Skin Show “deviant, raw, nasty, disturbing, and yet, the most lively, evolved, and polished version of the trio yet.”
