The St. Louis Ambush signed free agent Mohamed “Mo” Ndiaye to a three year contract, the team announced today. Per league and team policies, no further details of the deal were disclosed.
Nidiaye comes to the Ambush with two seasons of experience in the Major Arena Soccer League, having played for the Baltimore Blast from 2018-2020. In 29 career games, Ndiaye tallied 11 goals and 12 assists.
Mo hails from Ivory Coast, West Africa, where he was a member of the Ivory Coast youth national team. He came to the United States in 2013. Ndiaye played prep soccer at Oakland Mills High School in Columbia, Maryland, where he lettered all three years. Mo went on to play one year of collegiate soccer at the Community College of Baltimore County in Catonsville, Maryland, posting nine goals and 11 assists in 14 games played.
Ndiaye said, “I am very excited and cannot wait to get to St. Louis and meet my teammates, the staff and the fans and get going with this new adventure.”
Ambush co-owner and General Manager Jeff Locker said, “Mo Nidiaye got his indoor soccer career off to a great start during his two seasons with Baltimore. We look forward to his continued development as a member of the Ambush.”
