Matching All-Star Game Jerseys To Continue Next Year

by Mick Lite

Did you like the jerseys worn during the All-Star Game this year? Most likely you didn’t like the design, right? Thought they looked like soccer jerseys or something? I think people have complained about the jerseys for as long as I can remember… I remember the 1999 ones got a lot of hate back then and were probably one of the worst.

But did you like that they were wearing matching jerseys during the game?

It was the first time in ASG history that they wore matching jerseys. Every year, we see the ASG jerseys designed and for sale, but the players usually only wear them during warmup or the HR derby. Instead, they wear their team’s uniforms during the game.

When the All-Star Game was in St. Louis back in 2009, I absolutely loved those designs and it was probably the first time I thought I wished they would actually wear the jerseys.

They will wear matching jerseys during the game for at least another year as the MLB and Nike are already working on jerseys for next year’s All-Star Game.
