Parayko Activated From Injured Reserve

St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have activated defenseman Colton Parayko from injured reserve.

Parayko has missed the last 21 games due to an upper-body injury and will play Monday against the Vegas Golden Knights.

In addition, the Blues assigned forward Jacob de la Rose to the taxi squad.

Parayko, 27, was originally drafted by the Blues in the third round (No. 86 overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft. This season, the 6-foot-6, 230-pound defenseman has posted eight points (one goal, seven assists) and 12 penalty minutes in 16 games.

Overall, the St. Albert, Alberta native has totaled 167 points (40 goals, 127 assists) and 117 penalty minutes in 402 career regular-season games.
