The St. Louis Cardinals announced following this afternoon’s game that they have re-assigned or optioned 10 players to their minor league camp, reducing the number of players in Major League camp to 44.
The team optioned pitchers Seth Elledge and Angel Rondón and catchers Ivan Herrera and Ali Sánchez, and re-assigned pitcher Roel Ramirez, catcher Aaron Antonini, infielders Evan Mendoza and Delvin Pėrez and outfielders Conner Capel and Scott Hurst.
