Cardinals Sign Infielder Max Moroff To Minor League Deal

The Cardinals have signed switch-hitting infielder Max Moroff to a minor league deal with a spring training invite to major league camp (non-roster).

He has a .183/.277/.319 line in 244 plate appearances in 104 MLB games from 2016-2019 with the Pirates and Indians.

He mostly has played 2B and SS, but also some 3B and a handful of games in the corner outfield spots.

He signed a minor league deal with the Mets last season.
