Billikens at La Salle Tonight at 7 p.m. (CT)

by Brian Kunderman

Saint Louis begins a two-game Philadelphia roadswing on Wednesday when it takes on the La Salle Explorers at Gola Arena. Game time is 7 p.m. (CT).

The game will not be televised. It will be streamed live on ESPN+. The game will air on 101 ESPN (101.1 FM) in St. Louis. Billiken Hall of Famers Bob Ramsey and Earl Austin Jr. will call the action.

The Billikens enter Wednesday’s game 15-5 overall and 4-3 in the Atlantic 10 Conference. SLU snapped its first two-game losing skid on Sunday with a 55-39 win over Fordham at Chaifetz Arena. La Salle has dropped six straight and enters the game 10-9 overall, 1-6 in league play.

Here are five additional facts in advance of Wednesday’s game against La Salle:

1 // Jordan Goodwin and Hasahn French continue to be the only teammates in NCAA Division I both averaging a double-double.

2 // Goodwin enters the La Salle game needing 12 points to become the 32nd player in school history to reach 1,000 points for his career. He would be the 10th Billiken to reach the milestone in his junior season.

3 // With his next assist, Yuri Collins will surpass Kwamain Mitchell’s SLU freshman record of 113 assists in a season.

4 // French, SLU’s all-time blocked shots leader with 176 rejections and counting, is eighth on SLU’s single-season blocked shots list with 51 this season. He is also tied for third (66 as a sophomore) and fifth (59 as a freshman).

5 // The Billikens are in a busy stretch where they will play four of their next six games on the road. SLU won’t play consecutive games at home at Chaifetz Arena until Feb. 21 and Feb. 26.

Up Next: The Billikens stay in Philadelphia to take on the Saint Joseph’s Hawks on Saturday (Feb. 1) at 5:30 p.m. (CT) on NBCSN.
