Make memories at Downtown St. Louis’ most festive annual attraction

by Danya Artimisi

Winterfest returns for their fourth annual holiday season and brings festive fun for the whole family.

The weekend series of events takes place in the picturesque center of downtown at Kiener Plaza.

Just north of Busch Stadium, you’ll be able to ice skate under the open skies at the community ice rink, stroll around the Winter Market shopping district, take advantage of reserved Igloo seating with Sugarfire table service, and more, and do it all among the majestic sights of the Gateway Arch.

Admission to the event is FREE! Skate rental is available for a small charge: $12 for adults and $7 for kids, 3-15 years old. On Fridays, kids’ skate rental is FREE – courtesy of the St. Louis Blues!

Heads up moms and dads!  Sundays are Kids/Family Sundays!  From noon to 1 p.m., special characters from family movies and television will skate among the crowd where you’ll have your chance to take photos and capture the memories to last a lifetime.  Check www.archpark.org for the upcoming appearance announcements.
