• An own goal in the 35th minute and a defensive effort that produced a ninth shutout propelled Saint Louis to a 1-0 Atlantic 10 Conference victory over Fordham Thursday night.

• SLU (12-3-1, 7-0 A-10) extended its winning streak to eight and its unbeaten streak to 10 (9-0-1).

• With three games remaining, the Billikens remain in sole possession of first place in the A-10.
