St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have recalled goaltender Jared Coreau(KOHR-oh) from the club’s American Hockey League (AHL) affiliate, the San Antonio Rampage. Coreau will serve as the third goaltender on the Blues playoff roster.
Coreau, 27, was originally acquired by the Blues via trade from the Anaheim Ducks on Jan. 3, 2019. The 6’5, 214-pound goaltender dressed in 32 regular-season games with the Rampage this season, posting a 12-18-1 record along with a 3.15 goals-against average and a .886 save percentage. The Perth, Ontario, native has made 21 career National Hockey League (NHL) appearances, all with the Detroit Red Wings, logging a 5-9-4 record.
