The quartet of squads on quads battled just two weekends ago and this tonight’s match-ups will continue the trend of ultra-competitive play.

The twin bill at Midwest Sport Hockey (570 Weidman Rd. Ballwin, MO) begins at 6:30 pm as the M-80s face the Smashinistas. Then in the nightcap that follows, defending ARCH champions, the Stunt Devils, meet undefeated Rebel Skate Alliance.

Tickets at the door are $15, students with ID are $8 while children 10 and under get in free.

The Smashinistas (3-1) rebounded from their first loss of the season in late-January with an impressive 190-110 victory over the Stunt Devils to retain second place status in the standings. Jammer Frowntown collected over 80 points in the win while Smashing Violet and Skeevie Nicks also provided high numbers.

Vital to success tonight is the cohesive play from blockers Cloak N’ Dragher, Gnarley Carbsmashian, Smash Me Ousside, Oliver Smash, Smashsquatch, chill beans, CQ, Nigel Smashberry, WyldeSyde, Smash Money, Regrets and the Monster Smash.

Meanwhile the M-80s (0-4), they sport a competitive line-up and might snatch their first victory of the campaign. Alongside triple-digit scoring jammer L’Oakey Doki, donning the star on the helmet will be Lucy Fir, Owl Wing It! and Camp Kwitcherbitchin.

The key for a win by the red-flanneled troopers will be the blocking schematic paced by Dad Bod, Scouts Horror, Special Brownies, Pecan Misandry, Slam Shakusky, Crumbledore, Curl Scout, Wood Bang, Merit Badger and Trampfire.

Saturday’s second game finds Rebel Skate Alliance (4-0) looking to maintain their unblemished record. Two weeks ago, RSA claimed a 191-101 duke over the M-80s. Jammers Boba Flash and Darth Tator  recorded solid numbers while Indiana Bones gained solid rotations in their first ARCH game.

Blocking is provided by Endorable!, Storm Bruiser, Han Rolo, Obi-Wan Kenosebleed, Jabba the Butt, Yoda Blow, Spock N’ Roll, Zombie Plagueis, Wookie Monster, Lethal Dose, SITH HAPPENS! and Titanium Falcon.

The Stunt Devils (1-3) are faced with must-win scenarios for the remainder of the regular season if they wish to have an opportunity to defend their trophy in late-April. The talent is certainly there with jammers Scarrie Fisher and Slamgelina Jolie. Blocking is paced by Rhonda Lousey, Black Dynamite, Mya Pinion and Kill-Ya Knightly with additional help from Force Choke, Ginger, Reese Wither(n’Die)Spoon, Fast ‘n’ Lucy Liu, Kat, Nunchucks Norris, Sir Ian McKillin’ and Glenn Close But No Cigar.
