Saint Louis freshman guard Ciaja Harbison captured the final Atlantic 10 Conference Rookie of the Week award, the league office announced today.

Harbison picked up her 11th Rookie of the Week honor, the second most in A-10 women’s basketball history.

In a 76-60 win over eventual A-10 regular-season co-champion VCU Feb. 27, Harbison scored 20 points, tied the game high of six assists and led SLU with three steals. She tallied career highs of 12 made free throws and 14 free throw attempts.

Harbison led the Billikens with 20 points at Dayton March 2. She was 7-of-12 from the field overall, 2-of-3 from 3-point range and 4-of-4 from the stripe. Harbison’s 20 points lifted her season total to 442; she needs just three points to set a Saint Louis freshman record.

Harbison leads the A-10 in assists (4.4 apg) and stands third in scoring (team-high 15.2 ppg), third in free throw percentage (team-high .847), sixth in steals (team-high 1.7 spg) and 10th in field goal percentage (.423). She has scored in double figures in 25 of 29 games, including seven games with 20 or more points.

A Billiken captured the A-10 Rookie of the Week award in 14 of 17 weeks this season.

Saint Louis finished sixth in the A-10 standings and will host an A-10 Championship first-round game Tuesday, March 5. The opponent is Richmond, and tip time at Chaifetz Arena is 7 p.m.
