THE BASICS

• Ciaja Harbison scored a team-high 15 points and added six rebounds and a game-high six assists, but a three-point play with five seconds remaining lifted Fordham to a 56-53 Atlantic 10 Conference victory over Saint Louis Sunday afternoon at Chaifetz Arena.

• Brooke Flowers had 13 points and nine rebounds for the Billikens, who slipped to 6-10 overall and 1-2 in the A-10. Jordyn Frantz turned in 10 points, five rebounds, three assists and two blocks, andChloe Rice came off the bench to toss in seven points.

• Fordham, which extended its winning streak to seven, improved to 12-5, 3-0.

FIRST HALF

• Saint Louis trailed 8-4 but finished the first quarter with a 7-1 run to take an 11-9 lead.

• The Billikens were in front 17-15 midway through the second quarter, but a 9-0 Fordham spurt put the Rams on top 24-17.

• After two Kendra Wilken free throws and a Miya Clark bucket narrowed the gap to three, Fordham scored in the final minute and took a 26-21 lead at intermission.

THIRD QUARTER

• Flowers scored six points in a 9-3 run that gave Saint Louis a 30-29 edge.

• After Fordham netted six of the next eight points, SLU outscored the Rams 12-4 over the final 3:16 of the period to lead 44-39. Harbison registered seven of the 12 points.

FOURTH QUARTER

• There were five lead changes and three ties in the final 10 minutes. Two free throws by Harbison with 33 seconds left created the final deadlock, 53-53.

• On Fordham’s next possession, Zara Jillings got a tough short shot to fall, was fouled, and finished the three-point play with five seconds remaining. The Billikens advanced the ball to the frontcourt following a timeout but were unable to put up a potential game-tying shot.

• Saint Louis committed only 10 turnovers.

• The Billikens outscored the Rams 10-2 in fast-break points.

• Ciaja Harbison’s six rebounds tied her career high.

• Chloe Rice was 3-of-3 from the field, including a 3-pointer.
