RECAP
Saint Louis’ Devin Boyce converted a penalty kick in the 89th minute to lift the Billikens to a 2-1 Atlantic 10 Conference win over St. Bonaventure on Saturday night.

The Billikens improve to 5-2-5 overall and 2-1-2 in the A-10. St. Bonaventure falls to 5-6-1 and 2-3 in the league.

SLU was awarded the PK at the 88:32 mark after St. Bonaventure was whistled for a hand ball in the box. With the score tied 1-1 at the time, Boyce converted the chance for the game-winning goal.

John Klein recorded the equalizer for the Billikens in the 48th minute. It was his team-leading sixth goal of the season.

The Bonnies started the scoring in the 42nd minute when Kosi Nwafornso buried a PK.

The Billikens had a 12-5 advantage in shots and a 7-1 advantage in corner kicks.

Saint Louis is back in action on Wednesday night (Oct. 17) when it hosts Duquesne at Hermann Stadium. Game time is 7 p.m.
