The St. Louis Ambush have announced details for their annual FanFest, slated for Sunday, November 18 at the Family Arena. The highlight of the Fan Fest is a free preseason exhibition match against the Dallas Sidekicks.
Like the Ambush, the Sidekicks claim heritage to a storied franchise with a rich history and tradition in professional indoor soccer. The Ambush and Sidekicks will not meet during the 2018-19 regular season, so the November 18 contest will be the only opportunity for St. Louis area fans to see the Sidekicks live this season. The event will also be a chance to see the 2018-19 Ambush team in action ahead of the regular season.
Here is the schedule of events for the FanFest:
1:00 p.m.: Family Arena doors open to the public.
1:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m.: On-field activities including inflatables, tattoos and alumni players signing autographs.
2:15 p.m.: Players begin pre-game warmups.
3:05 p.m.: Ambush versus Sidekicks exhibition match.
Postgame: Ambush players sign autographs on the field.
Parking at the Family Arena, FanFest activities and the game are all free, so this is a great chance to bring the whole family and enjoy a fun day with the St. Louis Ambush at a price anyone can afford!
The Ambush kick off their 2018-19 campaign with road games on November 30 at Orlando, December 1 at Florida and December 8 at Harrisburg. The upcoming season will consist of 24 games, with all 12 home games being played at the Family Arena in St. Charles. The home opener is slated for Sunday, December 16 at 3:05 p.m. when the Ambush host the Kansas City Comets.
