Blues Sign Forward Dmitrij Jaskin To A One-Year Contract

St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the Blues have signed forward Dmitrij Jaskin (YEAH-skihn) to a one-year, one-way, contract worth $1.1 million.

Jaskin, 25, was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round, 41st overall, of the 2011 National Hockey League (NHL) Entry Draft.  Last season, the 6’2, 216-pound forward tallied 17 points, including a career-high 11 assists, in 76 regular season games.  Overall, the Omsk, Russia, native has appeared in six seasons with the Blues, recording 61 points (25 goals, 36 assists) and 82 penalty minutes in 266 regular season games.  Jaskin has also produced four points (two goals, two assists) and 11 penalty minutes in 14 career postseason games.
