St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today that forward Scottie Upshall will be out indefinitely after suffering a left-kidney laceration during the Blues game against the Arizona Coyotes last Saturday night.

Upshall, 34, has dressed in 63 games for the Blues this season, logging 19 points (seven goals, 12 assists) and 46 penalty minutes.  The 6’0, 200-pound forward is currently in his third season with the Blues and 15th NHL season overall.  The Fort McMurray, Alberta, native has amassed 285 points (138 goals, 147 assists) and 615 penalty minutes in 759 career NHL regular season games.  Upshall was originally signed by the Blues as a free agent on Oct. 5, 2015.
