Well as if portraying the Merc With A Mouth in the Deadpool sequel and slated to star in the Pokemon live action film, Detective Pikachu, isn’t enough, Reynolds has now been confirmed to star in the Clue reboot.
Based on the popular family board game by Hasbro, a film of Clue was released in 1985 that consisted of a young ensemble cast such as Time Curry, Eileen Brennan, Christopher Lloyd and Michael McKean. The official announcement to reboot the film was back in 2016, however no one was officially cast to play in the remake until this week with Reynolds both taking on the project and his company also producing it.
No one else has been announced to cast or even write the reboot yet, however it has been said that the Clue reboot will consist of a worldwide mystery with the potential of spawning multiple films if the reboot is financially successful.
