Blues Activate Dunn From IR; Assign Walman To Chicago

St. Louis Blues President of Hockey Operations and General Manager Doug Armstrong announced today the club has activated defenseman Vince Dunn from injured reserve.  Dunn missed both Blues games last weekend due to the flu.  In addition, the Blues have assigned defenseman Jake Walman to the American Hockey League’s (AHL) Chicago Wolves.

Dunn, 21, is currently in his rookie season with the Blues, posting seven points (three goals, four assists) and eight penalty minutes through 39 games.  A 6’0, 203-pound native of Mississauga, Ontario, Dunn was originally drafted by the Blues in the second round (56th overall) of the 2015 NHL Entry Draft.

Walman, 21, has appeared in 34 games for the Wolves this season, recording 13 points (two goals, 11 assists) and 14 penalty minutes.  Last season, the 6’1, 202-pound defenseman dressed in seven regular season games and eight postseason games for the Wolves, posting six points (four goals, two assists) overall.  A native of Toronto, Ontario, Walman was originally drafted by the Blues in the third round (82nd overall) of the 2014 NHL Entry Draft.
