Wichita State Dominates Bradley 82-56

by

St. Louis – It took a few minutes to get in gear but once Wichita State got going they didn’t stop, finishing the first half on a 26-5 run and holding Bradley to just 27% shooting, including 0-for-9 from distance in the frame, en-route to a 42-16 halftime lead and eventual 82-56 win in the quarterfinals of the MVC Tournament.

21st ranked Wichita State (28-4) knocked off Bradley for the 16th-straight time behind 17 points from Darral Willis Jr. who lead 13 Shockers that cracked the scoring column. WSU was just too physical for the Bradley, controlling the rebounding edge 51-37 while getting to the line 45 times, hitting 31 (69%).

The Shockers will await the winner of the nightcap, Northern Iowa and Missouri State. Wichita State was a double-digit winner in all four games against those two opponents this season, winning by an average of 20 points per game.
