Cards And Royals Engaged In Trade Talks

by Mick Lite

Initially reported by John Perrotto, the Cardinals and Royals were discussing Kolten Wong and prospects for Lorenzo Cain and Wade Davis.

Now, according to MLB Network Radio, the rumored players involved are Kolten Wong, Trevor Rosenthal, Jhonny Peralta, and Harrison Bader for Lorenzo Cain, Wade Davis, and Alcides Escobar.

According to industry sources, per John Perrotto, the Royals are willing to trade anybody but left-hander Danny Duffy and catcher Salvador Perez at the Winter Meetings.

Adding Escobar to the mix is intriguing, possibly moving Diaz to 2nd or 3rd.
