Left-handed RP Brett Cecil agrees to a deal with the Cardinals, per team source, pending a physical. Deal for four years, may exceed $30M.

Cecil, 30, has pitched eight seasons in the Major Leagues, all with the Blue Jays. He went 1-7 with a 3.93 ERA in 36 2/3 innings for Toronto in 2016.

He will replace Zach Duke, who underwent Tommy John surgery and will miss all of next year as a left-handed reliever in their pen.
