Jackman To Announce Retirement Tuesday

Former Blues defenseman Barret Jackman will formally announce his retirement from the NHL during a press conference Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Scottrade Center.

The press conference will include appearances from Blues Chairman Tom Stillman, General Manager Doug Armstrong and former Blues defensemen Chris Pronger and Al MacInnis.

The press conference is not open to the public, but coverage – including the full press conference video – will be available at stlouisblues.com following the event.

Jackman played in 876 career games, 803 of which were as a member of the St. Louis Blues. He ranks second all time in franchise history in games played, trailing only Bernie Federko (927).
