The U.S. Open Cup returns to World Wide Technology Soccer Park on Wednesday, May 18 when Saint Louis FC hosts NPSL side AFC Cleveland which defeated GPS Portland of the PDL tonight in Maine.
AFC Cleveland opened the scoring against GPS Portland in the 24th minute when Antonio Manfut scored on a cross into the box. The visitors never relinquished the lead and secured the 1-0 victory in the opening round of the Open Cup.
In its inaugural campaign, Saint Louis FC defeated the Des Moines Menace and Minnesota United before falling to Sporting Kansas City in the 2015 Open Cup.
