In the women’s main event at Midwest Sport Hockey (570 Weidman, Ballwin, MO), the Stunts Devils (2-1) battle the M-80s (2-1) while in the men’s opener, the Creve Coroners (0-3) tangle with the Central West Friends (2-1).

Regular season bragging rights are on the line in Saturday’s ARRG tilt. Both squads, possessors of identical records, will compete against each other in April’s championship game and their tussle earlier this year was determined by single digits.

The Stunt Devils, the defending ARRG champ, topped the M-80s in January, 152-148, in a game that was determined in the donnybrook’s waning jams.

Jamming will be paced by Bricktator, CupQuake and Psychokid d Freakout while blockers Cruella Belle-Ville, Pegasass, Sound-Proof, Danisaurus Rex , Momentum Mori, Stormin Norma and Midnight Smack lay down the foundation.

The M-80s clinched its respective trip to next month’s ARRG title game with a 180-156 February victory over the Smashinistas. Jammer D’Manda Flapjack notched 109 points in the duke while Lone Pine, Paul Funyun, Let’s Get Beard and Bloody Gaga added pivotal scoring.

Blockers Oak, C’Mon!?!, Lumberjam, Bad Adze, Warpath O’ Jen, Trigger Happy Jackie, Arcane Sugar, Jenforcer, Molotov and Snotface are primed to chop down its opposition, claim its second straight win and send a warning shot for April’s trophy tilt.

2016-01-02 Friends vs Coroners - 3152Meanwhile in the men’s “Turf Wars” campaign, the rapidly-improving Creve Coroners opened eyes with its February one-point nail biter against current GKRD standings leader Raiders of Forest Park. The 171-170 setback kept the squad winless but showed everyone that this team is most certainly dangerous as it heads into Saturday’s tilt.

Jammer Magnum P.I.M.P. collected 96 points in the tussle while Jagged Little Will, Indy and The Doc also had solid rotations with the star. Blockers Double Excel, Boney Fangers, Inquadable Hulk, Irving, O’ Connell and a host of others will look to aid the derby morticians to its first win of the season.

The Central West Friends cultivated two straight wins earlier this season and, after an idle February, aims to prime itself in anticipation of its championship battle with the Raiders next month.

Jamming is paced by Mailbox while Fruit Wallup, The Great Stromboli and Monster Jam supplements at multiple positions. Blockers-by-trade SoGo, Capt. Kramerica, Perc In Boots, Blue Suede Bruise, Poppa Choppa, Dent and Red Rider also propel the schema.

Tickets for the event, which also features an “ARRG Alumni Night” that celebrates the 10-year anniversary for the women’s flat-track league, are $10 while children 10 and under get in free. Tickets can be purchased either at the door or at THIS LINK.
