Preview: Cardinals vs. Marlins

Hello Cardinal fans. Today the Cardinals play their first Grapefruit League game of 2016. They will be taking on the Miami Marlins.

On Tuesday the Marlins matched up against the Miami Hurricanes, beating them 5-1. Yesterday, the Cardinals played an interesting game against the FAU Owls, beating them 13-6. Both teams come into Thursdays game, 1-0, and both have beaten a college team.

Even though both teams call Roger Dean Stadium home, during Spring Training, the Cardinals will be the official Home team during todays game.

The Marlins will be starting RHP, Tom Koehler. Koehler pitched 187.1 Innings in 2015, and held a 4.08 ERA.  Below is the Marlins Starting Lineup for today.

  5. Johnson 1B

The Cardinals will be starting LHP, Tyler Lyons. In 2015, Lyons pitched 60 Innings in the Majors, and had a 3.75 ERA. Below is the Cardinals Lineup for todays game.
