Missouri State finished a disappointing seventh place in the MVC this season. The Bears didn’t do terrible i  conference play, almost getting to .500 and finishing 8-10. However, MO State went 1-7 against the top four teams in the conference, with the only win coming against Illinois State in an overtime thriller back in January. The Bears also had a relatively weak out of conference schedule, which hasn’t helped them in the long run. The Bears are a complete long shot to make a run in the Missouri Valley Conference tournament. They play Thursday ay 8:30pm against 10 seed Drake. The winner of that game goes on to play Evansville on Friday.
