Indiana State has been another one of those “middle of the pack” teams in the Missouri Valley Conference. They have some decent wins but also have some losses that aren’t good. They’ve split season series’ against second place Evansville and third place Illinois State. The Sycamores have lost 9 of their last 12 conference games including a current losing streak of six games. ISU closes out the season against ninth place Bradley, which is a game they are likely to win. The Sycamores will enter the MVC tournament as a seed ranging anywhere from 6th-8th, depending on the results of the final regular season games in the MVC. But if the Sycamores want to make a run in the tourney next week, they’re gonna have a lot of work to do.
