Very grateful for Boise State and Coach Harsin, however I have decommitted. I have nothing but respect for the coaches and program.

Micah Wilson, a 6-foot-3, 200-pound dual threat prospect from Lincoln Christian in Tulsa, OK, committed to Boise State last April. He stuck with that choice and even declined contact with other schools’ coaches ever since. He made an exception on Thursday for Josh Heupel, Mizzou’s new Offensive Coordinator, who extended a scholarship during an in-home visit.  It only took Wilson a matter of seconds to make a decision.

Micah’s father, Curtis Wilson, played center for Mizzou in 1987-1988 and was a ninth-round pick by the New England Patriots in 1989. Drew Lock’s father, Andy, played at Mizzou during the same time.
“It’s probably the only place that was able to pull me away from Boise State,” Wilson said Friday. “Both my parents (Curtis and Shelly) went there, and also I just grew up a Mizzou fan. I grew up watching Chase Daniel, Jeremy Maclin and those guys. I always wished I could end up playing there someday.”

“My parents were stoked,” Wilson said. “They were really happy. They would have been happy with wherever I chose, but Missouri is a special place for them. I really look forward to playing there.”

Wilson led the Lincoln Christian Bulldogs to the Class 3A state championship game and a 14-1 season. He completed 198 of 279 passes (71% completions) for 3,730 yards with 56 touchdowns and only two interceptions.  He also averaged 8.1 yards rushing, gaining 596 yards in 74 carries with 11 touchdowns.

According to Rivals.com, Wilson also held scholarship offers from Colorado State, Harvard, Illinois State, Liberty, Nevada, UNLV, Utah State, Wyoming and Yale.
