Rams WR Stedman Bailey Shot Twice In The Head

by Mick Lite

Rams WR Stedman Bailey was shot twice in the head while sitting in a car with two young relatives and his cousin. He is stable condition in a Miami ICU and is scheduled to undergo surgery in the morning.

Per Ian Rapoport, the driver – Bailey’s cousin – was shot multiple times, shielding the kids from bullets. The driver’s wounds are life threatening.

Bailey is currently serving a four game suspension for a violation of the NFL’s substance abuse policy. Prior to his suspension, he had 12 catches for 182 yards and a touchdown.

Rams released this statement: “We are aware Stedman Bailey was involved in an incident this evening.  We have spoken with Stedman and he is in the hospital in critical, but stable, condition.  We are gathering facts about the situation and will provide updates as we learn more.”
