(OMAHA, NE) The All-Star team of the Arch Rival Roller Girls found out its opening round opponent for the 2015 Women’s Flat Track Derby Association (WFTDA) International Championships in November.
In a drawing held by the WFTDA Sunday in Omaha, Nebraska, the St. Louis-based league, currently ranked #11 internationally, netted a first-round play-in game against #9 Jacksonville on Friday, November 6. The three-day, 12-league bracketed tournament will be held in St. Paul, Minnesota and game times will be determined in the near-future.
Arch Rival (15-2) earned its first-ever trip to the Championship round with its third place finish at the WFTDA playoff round held Tucson, Arizona in early September.
Its opponent, New Jax, finished second at the WFTDA playoff round held in Jacksonville.
