The series opener between the Gateway Grizzlies and the River City Rascals was postponed Tuesday night due to rain.
The game will be made on Wednesday, June 17, as part of a doubleheader at GCS Ballpark. The doubleheader will feature two seven-inning contests with first pitch for game one at 11:35 a.m. Game two will begin shortly after the conclusion of game one.
Fans with tickets to Tuesday’s game may exchange their ticket for one of equal or lesser value to any remaining game this season.
RHP Vincent Molesky (2-2, 6.54 ERA) will take the mound for the Grizzlies in the first game of the doubleheader. The Rascals will counter with RHP Marc Rutledge (1-2, 4.43 ERA). The pitching matchup in game two will feature Gateway RHP JaVaun West (2-3, 5.80) and River City RHP Dane Stone (1-1, 2.70).
