Ranks Week 14

Scott Batchelor

Saints over Panthers – There are plenty of good games to pick from this week. But Saints are trying to break a home losing streak reclaim the top spot in the division, which with a win this week I am sure they do with Atlanta playing in Green Bay. I just cannot come up with a scenario in which the Panthers are able to steal this one.

Saints 42 – Panthers 16

49ers over Raiders – This one seems like an easy lock for the week especially after the Raiders are coming off a loss to the Rams 52-0. Look for the 49ers to establish the running game with RB Frank Gore and use that to set up Colin Kaepernick for down the field passes to his WRs and TEs.

49ers 35 – Raiders 10

Packers over Falcons – Packers are coming off a big win at home against the Patriots, a possible preview of this year’s Super Bowl. Aaron Rodgers will continue the trend, not to mention Green Bay hasn’t lost a game yet at home this year.

Packers 38 – Falcons 24

Packers over Falcons – Last week featured the Patriots vs Packers in what could be a Super Bowl preview. The game was won by the Packers, 26-21. No team has been on as big a hot streak as the Packers have been, and they match up on Monday night against the Falcons, who have won just a single game outside their division this season. The defense of Atlanta is battered, and that’s not good news when facing Aaron Rodgers…especially at Lambeau Field

Nick Yahl

Colts over Browns – The Browns are confused about who will control the reins at the quarterback position, while the Colts continue to perform well behind Andrew Luck.

Colts 27 – Browns 14

Ryan Melosi

Detroit over Tampa – Detroit has one of the best defenses in the league. At home against a terrible Bucs team they’ll continue that dominance.

Lions 31 – Bucs 13

Billy Perry

Patriots over Chargers – New England will not lose two weeks in a row. Tom Brady is 4-2 in his career against the Chargers, and this San Diego team isn’t nearly as tough as the old LaDanian Tomlinson teams. Brady has averaged 300.3 YPG with 2 TD’s per game against San Diego in his career.
